Throughout my 20 plus years of working as a Chiropractor, I have been intrigued by the way our bodies express our blocked and unexpressed feelings. Our beautiful bodies can hold our feelings, like a container, until suddenly it all spills over and it can come out as pain, hair loss, or even a rash. We are complicated beings and so it is not always as simple as “just emotions" being stuck within us.
I often see feelings layered over a body injury. The gift of being a chiropractor means it is easier to tease out what is ‘emotion’ and what is just ‘structural’ injury, or in fact where the two meet.
As a practitioner, I wish to support each person that I work with. In my sessions I assist you to release any stored stress held in your body so you may be more at peace within yourself.
I adopt a gentle approach to care. For those that want know what kind of tools I have used as a Chiropractor, I adopt Applied Kinesiology, Activator, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOTO), and most importantly, Neuro-Emotional-Technique (NET).
I see all ranges of people – from the small to the elderly. I also have an equal mix of males to females, and of all age ranges... maybe because I am a mum to teenage boys. I am also comfortable with people who are neurodiverse, as my youngest son has taken me on that journey.
Most of all, I enjoy caring for people so they can express themselves more clearly and calmly. I can guide you to a healthier body that you feel more at home in.
My qualifications as a Chiropractor are a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University.
